Buckwheat honey, despite its very dark color, is not a honeydew as one might think. Bees enjoy the nectar that rises in June in the many little white pinkish flowers.
It is very different from the others honeys as it is distinguished by its powerful aromas of carob, and dried fruit.

    • Appearance: The color is very dark brown-black, the crystallization is rather creamy.

    • Nose: The aromatic smell is strong, deep, reminding carob and prunes.

    • Taste: The aroma is powerful and persistent.
