Linden Honey can be liquid, solid or creamy depending on the season.
Linden Honey contains traces of potassium, calcium, and manganese. Just like the lime-blossom (linden tree flower), it’s known for its calming effects and is recommended for nervousness and insomnia.
Three species of Linden Tree can be found in the Pyrenees : the large-leafed linden, the small-leafed linden, and the silver linden which is the most rare. In the high valleys of the Pyrenees, the small-leafed linden is the one that’s the most commonly found.
