Mountain Wild Flowers

fleurs de montagne

Our Mountain Wild Flower Honey is harvested at a maximum altitude of 900 meters from early June to early August.

Honeybees collect the majority of the nectar from hawthorn bushes, linden trees, brambles, willow herb, marjoram, French honeysuckle, wild thyme, vetch, and sometimes  the Chesnut trees.

Such a mix of trees and plants explains the variation in taste from one year to the next.

Mountain Wild Flower Honey can be liquid, solid, or creamy depending on the season.

High mineral content.
